Christenings & Baptisms
A christening or baptism is a significant milestone in your family's story. I capture the ceremony with discretion and respect, documenting the meaningful moments — the blessing, the godparents' promises, the candid reactions of family and friends. Afterwards, I photograph the celebrations, family group shots (without the stress!), and the joyful atmosphere of the gathering. I have experience photographing in churches and venues across Sussex.
Children's Birthday Parties
Children's birthday parties are wonderfully chaotic, and that energy creates fantastic photographs! The excitement of arriving guests, the concentration during party games, the pure joy of blowing out candles, the sugar-fuelled dancing — I capture it all. My documentary approach means I stay out of the way and let the fun unfold, so every child can be fully present in the party.
Milestone Celebrations
First birthdays, 18ths, 30ths, 50ths, 80ths — milestone celebrations bring families together in beautiful ways. Whether it's an intimate dinner party or a grand celebration, I document the connections between guests, the thoughtful details, and the emotional moments that make these gatherings special. Anniversary parties and retirement celebrations are also wonderful to photograph.

Event photography questions
Typically 2-3 hours, which covers arrivals, party activities, cake cutting, and some time for gifts and playing. This is usually enough to capture the full story of the party without children becoming too tired or overstimulated. For longer events, extended coverage is available.
Yes, I regularly photograph christenings and baptisms across Sussex. I am experienced working in churches and understand the importance of being discreet during the ceremony while still capturing meaningful images. I typically cover the ceremony and 1-2 hours of the celebration afterwards.
The number depends on the length and nature of the event. For a 2-3 hour children's party, expect around 100-150 images. For a full day celebration, you may receive 300+ images. All photos are individually edited and delivered via a private online gallery.
Absolutely. I am experienced in low-light photography and will use my equipment to capture beautiful images regardless of the lighting conditions. Evening events, candlelit celebrations, and indoor winter parties are all within my capabilities.
Yes, I travel throughout the South East, including London, Surrey, Kent and Hampshire. Travel is included within these areas. For events further afield, please get in touch and we can discuss arrangements.
