Wedding photography

As a documentary wedding photographer based in Worthing, I capture your day as it naturally unfolds — no staged poses, no interruptions, just authentic moments and real emotions. With over 200 weddings across Sussex, London, Surrey and the South East, I have the experience to anticipate the moments that matter and preserve them beautifully.

Your Wedding Day

What to expect when you book me

01

Before the day

We will have a relaxed pre-wedding consultation to discuss your timeline, must-have shots, and any family dynamics I should know about. If helpful, I can visit your venue beforehand to scout the best locations for portraits and identify beautiful light throughout the day.

02

Getting ready

I arrive while you are getting ready, capturing the excitement and nervous anticipation. The dress hanging in the window, the champagne being poured, the final touches of makeup, the emotional moment when your parents first see you. These quiet, intimate moments often become the most treasured images.

03

The ceremony

During the ceremony, I work unobtrusively to capture every emotion — the nervous glances, the tears of joy, the laughter during the vows, the first kiss as a married couple. I never use flash or interrupt proceedings. My documentary approach means you can be fully present in the moment.

04

Reception & party

From the speeches that make everyone cry with laughter, to the first dance, to the spontaneous moments on the dance floor — I capture it all. If there is beautiful evening light, I will steal you away for ten minutes for some relaxed golden hour portraits. No forced posing, just you two enjoying a quiet moment together.

05

After the wedding

Your fully edited gallery of 500+ images will be delivered within 6 weeks. You will receive a beautiful private online gallery where you can view, download and share your photos. Full print release is included, along with guidance on creating albums and wall art.

Frequently Asked Questions

Wedding photography questions

My full day package includes up to 12 hours of coverage, from bridal preparations through to the evening party. This ensures I capture every important moment without rushing. For smaller or midweek weddings, I also offer shorter coverage options.

You will receive 500+ carefully edited images from a full day wedding. Every image is individually processed for colour, exposure and tone. I do not use presets or bulk editing — each photo receives personal attention to ensure consistent, beautiful results.

Absolutely! Some of my favourite weddings have been intimate celebrations with just close family. Whether you are having 20 guests or 200, the same care and attention goes into documenting your day. I offer tailored packages for smaller celebrations.

Of course. I am happy to share complete wedding galleries so you can see the full story of a wedding day, not just the highlight images. This gives you a realistic expectation of what you will receive and helps ensure my style is right for you.

Yes, I regularly photograph weddings across London, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire and throughout the South East. Travel is included within these areas at no extra cost. For destination weddings further afield, I would love to hear about your plans.

Rain on your wedding day can actually create some of the most romantic and dramatic images! I always have backup plans for indoor portraits, and I carry protective gear for my equipment. Some of my most beautiful wedding photos have been taken in the rain — moody skies, reflections in puddles, cosy moments sheltering together.
